About event

Evanthia Reboutsika will once again grace the stage of the Herodeion, offering a profound musical journey across the Mediterranean. This performance will establish artistic bridges connecting Greece with two historic cultures, Israel and Palestine.

Accompanied by 14 distinguished musicians, Ms. Reboutsika will evoke the rich and diverse soundscapes of the Mediterranean through shared melodies and narratives.

Building on the success of her previous concert at the Herodeion, Evanthia Reboutsika will be joined by Yasmin Levy from Israel, Mira Awad from Palestine, and Greek soprano Christina Poulitsis. Together, they will reforge the melodic “Bridges,” conveying a message of peace, love, and coexistence.

This significant evening will serve as a reminder of our shared heritage and will offer new avenues for unity through a melody born from a singular violin.

The “Bridges” project is a reflective response by Evanthia Reboutsika to contemporary times, emphasizing the imperative of unity and the unifying and therapeutic power of music.
